Level 3 Awards In Risk Management (RQF): After the completion learners will have The level 3 award in risk assessment is designed for team leaders, supervisors, site managers, managers, quality controllers, technicians, engineers, health and safety specialists, and personnel contributing to the risk assessment process.

The Level 3 Awards In Risk Management qualification gives you knowledge in-depth on how to assess risk involve all around them or at the workplace.

The learners will be required to do the assessment to eliminate the level of risk and are expected to have basic knowledge about the risk assessment.

The participants must have a level 2 award in principles of risk assessment before joining this course.

Learning Outcome:

This qualification provides a thorough understanding of the health and safety management system in the complete knowledge about the categories of accidents, ill health, their socio-economic costs, and the benefits of good health and safety at the workplace. This qualification covers

  • How to conduct a risk assessment
  • Organization and implementation of risk assessment programs
  • Identification of specific training needs for the activities being assessed
  • Legal Requirements
  • How to improve standards of health and safety within the organization

After the completion of this qualification, the learners will understand how to implement properly a risk assessment program that can help prevent injuries, fatalities, property damage, incidents, and other losses.

This qualification not supports an effective management system but also helps to prevent human loss and suffering. Following the management of health and safety at work regulations 1999, employers with five or more, employers need to record the significant findings of the risk assessment.

Duration:

The duration of this qualification (TQT) is 20 hours and of this 14 hours are recommended as guided learning hours(GLH).

Assessment:

You will be required to submit the evidence of

  • Written statement, all the necessary guidance will be provided to you during the course.
  • Oral statements /answers or professional discussions (only for learners with special needs)
